Syansh Jobs ("we," "us," "our") operates syanshjobs.com, an AI-powered job search platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Syansh Jobs, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, and password (or Google/social login credentials) when you sign up.

Profile information: desired job title, years of experience, desired location, target salary, work authorization status, and resume content you provide, used to personalize job matches and AI-generated content.

Resume and application data: resumes you upload or generate, cover letters, and a record of jobs you save, apply to, or 1-Click Apply to.

Payment information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor (Razorpay) collects your payment details directly. We do not store your full card, UPI, or bank details ourselves — we retain only your subscription status and billing history.

Usage data: pages visited, searches performed, and general interaction data, collected to improve the service and enforce usage limits (e.g. free-tier weekly quotas).

Approximate location: we detect your country (via standard web request data) to show pricing in your local currency. We do not track your precise location.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account
  • To match you with relevant job listings and generate personalized AI content (resumes, cover letters, job recommendations, and chat-based career coaching)
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions
  • To enforce free-tier usage limits and prevent abuse
  • To communicate with you about your account, applications, or support requests
  • To improve and maintain the platform's security and reliability

3. Third Parties We Share Data With

We work with a limited set of service providers to operate Syansh Jobs. Each only receives the data necessary for its function:

  • Supabase — authentication and account/profile storage
  • Neon — job listings database
  • Anthropic (Claude) — powers AI Resume, Cover Letter, job matching, and the AI chat coach. Content you submit for these features (e.g. your resume text, a job description) is sent to Anthropic to generate a response.
  • Razorpay — payment processing for subscriptions
  • Vercel — website hosting
  • Job source APIs (Adzuna, Jooble, Remotive, USAJobs, and others) — we query these to display job listings; we do not send your personal data to them

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

4. Data Retention

Job listings are automatically removed after 15 days. Your account, profile, resume, and application data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

6. International Users & GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the GDPR, including the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

7. Your Choices

  • You can update or correct your profile information at any time from Settings.
  • You can delete your resumes, saved jobs, and applications individually.
  • You can request full account deletion by emailing us — we will delete your account data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are legally required to retain certain records (e.g. billing history).

8. Children's Privacy

Syansh Jobs is not directed at individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, access controls) to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of Syansh Jobs after changes means you accept the updated policy.
